4 Sale In Winchester Ready to Simplify Buying, Selling, and Trading

WINCHESTER, Va – Local entrepreneur Carl Johnson is preparing for the official opening of a new store, 4 Sale In Winchester, dedicated to providing consignment services to area collectors and businesses. According to Johnson, 4 Sale In Winchester, along with its companion website www.4SaleInWinchester.com, is the synthesis of several interests: antiques and collectibles, information technology, and a passionate commitment to creating a thriving business community in the Shenandoah Valley.

“This began because of my passion for watch collecting. I was looking for a better way to buy, sell, and trade antique and vintage watches. As the idea for 4 Sale In Winchester gelled, I realized it could become a great resource for like-minded collectors of artwork, jewelry, and antiques.”

Johnson quickly added that 4 Sale In Winchester also specializes in helping businesses that need to clear out inventory and assets. “Essentially,” he explained, “we help just about anyone with something to sell get in front of an ideal audience of potential buyers. In the same way, we help collectors and business people looking for a great ‘find’ or for value-priced assets.”

While the company website is up and running, Johnson and his staff of professional appraisers and buyers plan to officially introduce 4 Sale In Winchester to the community on Tuesday, March 25th. That morning, at 10 a.m., Winchester City Manager J. Brannon Godfrey Jr. will join them for a formal ribbon cutting and opening celebration.

The event will also honor the memory of Dave Davis, a late employee of Johnson’s who recently passed away. Davis’s son Colton will be present in his honor.

“We’re dedicating the ceremony to Dave’s memory,” Johnson added. “He was instrumental in making 4 Sale In Winchester a reality, contributing to everything from developing the idea itself to actually helping me build the store.”

Along with featuring and storing collectible merchandise, the 4 Sale In Winchester store will also feature monthly eBay classes. Held the first Thursday of every month, these 30 minute classes have been designed to help collectors and enthusiasts learn more about how to buy and sell using the popular online auction site www.eBay.com.

4 Sale in Winchester serves as a market for collectors seeking to locate particular items, an outlet for individuals to turn unused or unwanted items into cash, and a place for businesses to clear out inventory and assets with ease. 4 Sale In Winchester is a member of the Top of Virginia Regional Chamber, the Diamond Council of America, and the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors, Inc.
