California Country Antique American Country & Folk Art Show

The California Country Antique American Country & Folk Art Show will be held in Los Altos, CA on October 19th from 10am-4pm. Featured at this show is primarily American country and folk art antiques from the 17th-19th centuries including: country to formal furniture, folk art, quilts, hooked rugs, samplers, lighting, woodenware, baskets, stoneware, architectural and garden elements, camp and cottage, toys, holiday items, lots of old original paint and more. The show will be held inside and out of the Hillview Community Center at 97 Hillview Avenue in Los Altos, CA.

“Candle Power” is the featured exhibit at this show. Long before electricity, and the associated energy issues we’re faced with today, candles were a primary method of lighting. From the 17th to late 19th centuries, the exhibit will show examples of candle holders, candle molds, early tallow candles, candle sticks and candle boxes. Come see the types of materials and forms of candle power that was used in early American history.

Continuously sponsored by the Los Altos History Museum for 23 years, this antique show is the longest running on the West Coast – and the only place you can see so many unique antiques without travelling to the mid-west or east coasts. Our 50+ antique dealers are eagerly waiting to meet you and answer your questions.
