Medusa-Art.com Launch Collectors and Antiquities Website

Thanks to the launch of Medusa-Art.com’s new web site, antiquities are now more affordable and accessible than ever before.

Medusa-Art.com, launched the beta version in early June 2009. Although this not the company’s first site, the new design offers visitors and buyers more of the features and services they have asked for as well as a wider selection of antiquities. In the coming weeks, more than 400 pieces will be added to the site. One of the more recent additions dates back to 500 A.D., but the majority are much older with cultures dating back to the ancient Greeks, Egyptian, and Romans. Some of the more notable items in the current online collection include an Egyptian Inlaid Pectoral, a Roman Bronze Head of Serapis, and a pair of Gold Scythian Appliqus.

Price is clearly one reason more people who love museum quality antiquities don’t consider them to be accessible for their home or office. However, Medusa-Art.com includes items priced for as little as $200. The site offers a very wide range of beautiful, quality items for under $500. For more collectors with higher budgets, Medusa-Art.com also offers investment quality pieces in the $40,000 range. Because the web site caters to both casual buyers and fervent collectors, the price range for the objects offered is as diverse as the antiquities offered for sale.

The site also includes a new zoom-in feature that now allows buyers to examine photos of artwork more closely so that they can make a more informed decision before making their purchase.
