Clover Market Spring 2011 Call for Sellers

The Clover Market, an outdoor market in Ardmore, PA featuring art, antiques, vintage, and handmade items, announces the spring 2011 dates:

Sunday April 10
Sunday May 1
Sunday June 5

The Market will be open rain or shine from 10 am – 4 pm in the Schauffele Plaza Municipal parking lot (at 12 East Lancaster Ave.) in downtown Ardmore, PA.

In its first season in 2010, the Market attracted many of the area’s best-loved antique dealers and artists as sellers. It won Main Line Today Magazine’s “Best Outdoor Shopping Venue”, placed second in the MyPhl Hot List for “Best Housewares”, and received press coverage from Philadelphia Magazine, The Inquirer, Daily Candy Philadelphia, FYI Philly, the 10! Show, and Bucks and Montgomery Living among others.

Dealers and artists are being considered in the following categories:
* Antique/vintage – furniture, accessories, collectibles
* Original art – all styles and mediums accepted
* Vintage clothing – designer and high quality non-designer
* Artisan crafts and handmade – high quality, all styles and mediums considered
* Repurposed/recycled – architectural salvage, “up-cycled” items

Applications will be reviewed on an ongoing basis, but early bird seller discounts are in effect until 3/20/11. Detailed seller information and an application to participate are on the website: theclovermarket.com.

The Market is located in the downtown Ardmore business district which contains a vibrant mix of restaurants and small specialty shops. It is also within easy walking distance to the upscale Suburban Square shopping center and the Ardmore train station, making access from both the city and suburbs convenient.

The Clover Market is produced by Ardmore-based interior designer Janet Long of Elements Design LLC. Her passion for finding unique and interesting items for her clients’ homes, her access to many local antique and art resources, and her desire to contribute to the revitalization efforts in Ardmore motivated her to create the Clover Market.
