New Jersey Doll Show and Sale July 13

The 31st Annual “Christmas in July,” Central New Jersey’s popular and unique summertime doll show and sale that benefits local charities, will be held on Sunday, July 13, at the West Trenton Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 Ballroom at 40 West Upper Ferry Road in Ewing, New Jersey.

Sponsored by the Delaware Valley Doll Club of New Jersey, this event will feature a vast array of dolls, doll artifacts and toys. More than 45 dealers from throughout the country will be exhibiting and selling antique dolls, modern dolls, doll furniture, doll clothes, books and doll accessories.

Collectors will have more than 100 tables to peruse in search of that special doll for their collections. The doll show also features Teddy Bears as well as antique and collectible toys. “I’m constantly amazed that so many people from throughout the nation make ‘Christmas in July’ an annual stop on their summer travels, said publicity chair Donna Rovner. She believes the annual participation of doll celebrities like antique doll experts Roxanne LeMay Morison; Marion Mahony; internationally known porcelain doll artist Jody Abrams; and noted antique dealers like Philip May and Joy Harrington add to the prestige of this show. Also exhibiting is Virginia Aris of The Princeton Doll and Toy Museum which will be offering Doll Hospital services. Show hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
