Medieval Times joins the site’s stable of targeted blogs, including the Dinky Toys Blog and the recently-relaunched webzine Tales of Toy Cars for small-scale model cars.
The blog will focus on figures and dioramas depicting knights, peasants, crusaders and other medieval characters in all scales and materials, painted and unpainted. Robert Hill will serve as the blog’s publisher and contributions will come from leading lights on the figure scene including Peter Greenhill, Adrian Little, Doug Miller and Ralph Weaver. Old Toy Solder Magazine will also be contributing posts. As with all Toy Collector’s blogs, however, all of the site’s members will be welcome to contribute relevant posts.
About Toy Collector
Launched in 2008, Toy Collector is a web portal for collectable toy and model enthusiasts designed to allow collectors to share their passions via blogging, discussion forums, picture and video galleries. The site currently hosts over 15,000 toy-related articles and over 40,000 images.
It also offers resources like want ads and a yellow pages suppliers directory and boasts the largest toy-and-model-related event calendar on the internet. In addition to all this, the site also features ToyPedia – a Wikipedia-style online encyclopedia of collectable toys which currently covers over 20,000 items and is growing constantly.
