California Country Antiques Show

California Country & Folk Art Antiques Show will be held in Los Altos, CA on October 18th from 10am-4pm. Featured at this show is primarily American country and folk art antiques from the 17th-early 20th centuries including: country to formal furniture, folk art, quilts, hooked rugs, samplers, paintings, lighting, woodenware, baskets, stoneware, architectural and garden elements, camp and cottage, toys, lots of old original paint and more. The show will be held inside and out at the Hillview Community Center at 97 Hillview Avenue in Los Altos, CA.

In addition to the 50 antique dealers exhibiting and selling their finest antiques, a special exhibit featuring antique miniatures including salesmen samples, decorative arts, dollhouse furniture and accessories, and more. Antique miniatures are exquisite pieces made with the same fine details you find in their full sized counterparts.

This is the 24th year the Los Altos History Museum has sponsored the antiques show to be held on Sunday, October 18 from 10am to 4pm at the Hillview Community Center at 97 Hillview Avenue in Los Altos, CA. Admission to the show is $9.00 ($6.00 after 11am). Enter to win a $100.00 show shopping spree; drawing will be held at 2 pm. Show attendees are invited to visit the adjacent History Museum at no extra charge and enjoy an additional exhibit on miniatures at the museum.

Museum members will be cooking up a delightful old-fashioned barbecue including homemade apple and pumpkin pies. Whether you are an antique lover or interested in learning more about antiques and American history, you will find this event to be a delightful day.

The show is conveniently located between highways 280 and 101 in Los Altos. For fly-ins, both the San Jose International and San Francisco International Airports are only about 20 minutes away.

From it’s inception in 1986, the California Country Antiques Show has focused on premiere Country and Folk Art inviting only top antique dealers to participate. Over the past 24 years, the June & October shows have been sponsored by the Los Altos History Museum and quickly became known as the premiere all-country antiques shows west of Texas. Collectors come from all over the nation, as do the participating dealers. In June 2000, Tom Baker, a well-known and highly regarded Country and Folk Art dealer, took over the promotion of the California Country Show. Beginning in 2004, California Country expanded to include an annual show in southern California.
