Long Island Finest Antiques Show Celebrates 50 Successful Years!

Flamingo Eventz, LLC and the Congregational Church of Manhasset are pleased to announce that the 50th Annual Manhasset Antiques Show will be held Saturday and Sunday, October 24 and 25, at the church at 1845 Northern Boulevard (Route 25A), Manhasset, New York.

A benefit for the ladies club of the church and acknowledged to be the absolute finest and longest running antiques show on Long Island, it is renowned for its presentation of the finest Classical Antiques, Orientalia, China, Pottery, Porcelain, Jewelry, Silver, Textiles, and exceptional Decorative Accessories. Over 50 outstanding selected exhibitors from throughout the United States will present these exceptional antiques in designed displays and individual rooms throughout the Church school.

Featured exhibitors, many of whom appear at no other Long Island shows, include Marie Bradley of Bronx, New York, offering fine vintage linens and textiles; JLB, Ltd. of Weehawken, New Jersey, offering vintage Gucci, Channel & Cartier; Jessica’s Jems of Merrick, New York, offering vintage costume jewelry; Steve’s Antiques of Great Neck, New York, offering antique jewelry and smalls; CJ Brown of Staten Island, New York, offering vintage linens, tablecloths and decorator pillows; Doghouse Antiques of Huntington, New York, offering American pottery and Carnival glass; Curios & Irresistibles of Dix Hills, New York, offering one-of-a-kind unusuals and curios; Bob Gutmann Antiques of Jamica, New York, offering German and English porcelains and Italian art glass; Recollections Antiques of? Oak Beach, New York, offering Depression Era glassware and pottery; J&J of Tucson, Arizona, offering authentic Native American silver and jewelry; Janice Cohen of Carle Place, New York, offering fine English boxes and European curios; Violet Papier of Woodmere, New York, offering rare items of ephemera and fine French furniture; Chimney Corners Antiques of Amesbury, Massachusetts, offering unique assemblages and art; P.G. Antiques of N. Merrick, New York, offering fine cut crystal and English China; What Was, Is Vintage of Merrick, New York, offering vintage couture; and A. Harris Gordon of Tarrytown, New York, offering vintage lighting. These and many other exceptional exhibitors will be found only at this special event.

Special features found only at Flamingo shows include antiques appraisals by TV personality and appraiser John Bruno, Sunday, 1 to 3 p.m. at $5/item, plus the traditional Tea Room offering homemade refreshments and desserts will be presented by the Church Ladies’ Club.

Show hours are Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $6 per person, under 12 free with adult.
