The next upcoming Fall show will be held at the Belle Clair Fairgrounds Labor Day Weekend September 1 & 2, 2012. Hours for the Show are Sat. 10am – 5pm and Sun. 10am – 4pm.
The Belle Clair Fairgrounds at Belleville, IL has been home to the St. Louis Antique Festival for the past 25 years. Walter Sill, of Hendersonville, TN., created and managed the festival, holding two events – a Spring show and a Fall Show most years.
Steve and Virginia Hallett, of Scottsville, KY. bought the St. Louis Antique Festival in 2006 due to Mr. Sill’s semi-retirement. With over 60 years experience together in all aspects of the antique business, the Halletts continually strive to develop the Show and improve its quality. Mr. & Mrs. Hallett are assisted in the Show operation duties by two of their sons, Wayne and Wade, and Wade’s wife, Dorrie.
The St. Louis Antique Festival features 100 top quality antique dealers from 32 states displaying and selling items including : Dresden, Meissen, porcelain, jewelry, Nippon, Orientalia, art glass, art pottery, bronzes, Art Deco, Art Nouveau, paintings, furniture, silver, china, country store, quilts, clocks, French Cameo glass, lamps, photographs, Civil War, coins, dolls, toys, sports, advertising, Paper, glassware, prints, statuary, majolica, tools, musical instruments, linens, collectibles and more. Many of the dealers are Associated Antiques Dealers of America members.
Next year’s Spring Show will be held April 27 & 28, 2013.
The Belle Clair Fairgrounds is located 6 ½ mi. off of I-64, exit 12, south on Hwy. 159 at Hwy 13. The show is held inside a climate-controlled building with plenty of free parking. Admission is $6.
