Southern California Glass, Pottery and Dinnerware Show & Sale

Southern California will once again have a specialty Antique Show focusing on American-made Glass, Pottery and Dinnerware. There has not been this kind of specialty antique show in the area since June of 2006, and collectors are eagerly anticipating the new show, scheduled for the weekend of May 3-4, 2008.

The show will be held in Building 16 at the Orange County Fair & Exposition Center, in Costa Mesa, CA. There will be 24 quality dealers from at least 10 different states. Collectors will still find some of the familiar dealers who participated in previous shows in the area, as well as some who have never before exhibited their wares in southern California.

In addition, Wayne Montano, professional glass restorer, will be in attendance at the show on both Saturday and Sunday. He is well known in the southern California area, having provided his services there for many years, before moving to Idaho.

Collectors will find depression glass, elegant glass, dinnerware, kitchen ware, decorative wares, pottery and tableware from manufacturers such as Fostoria, Heisey, Cambridge, Jeanette, Hazel-Atlas, Indiana, Anchor-Hocking, Imperial, Hall China, Franciscan, Homer Laughlin, Catalina, Blue Ridge, etc. Most items were manufactured in America between the 1890’s and 1990’s. In short, there will be plenty of “goodies” for everyone.

Show hours are 10-5 on Saturday and 11-4 on Sunday. Admission is $6, free parking available. Wheelchair and Stroller friendly.
