The Springfield Antique Show and Flea Market returns to the Clark County Fairgrounds this July 11 and 12 with its annual Summer Festival. Over 600 vendors and thousands of eager buyers from all over the country will converge on one of Ohio’s finest show facilities.
Started in 1969 by Bruce Knight and Maurice McGill, the Springfield Antique Show and Flea Market has been a favorite source for thousands of collectors and dealers for 39 years. Whatever you are looking for; fine period furniture or shabby chic, Bakelite or diamond jewelry, fine art or folk art, you can expect to find the “unexpected” in Springfield.
The Jenkins Management family purchased the show in 1999. With 25 years of experience and the promotion of over 200 antique shows behind them, Barb and Steve Jenkins, along with their sons Jon and Jason, have become some of the most highly respected show promoters in the Antique Industry. Having hosted highly successful quality shows in Indiana, Kentucky, and Illinois in the past, and currently in Tennessee, Connecticut, and Ohio, the Jenkins family continues to be the leaders.
For many years, Steve was the President of the largest group of show promoters in the country, the Professional Show Managers Association (PSMA).In an innovative and unparalleled effort to attract more buyers and a younger crowd, Jenkins Management has teamed up with Country Home Magazine to present more options for people to enjoy and decorate with antiques and collectibles at home every day.
The first of this years’ Country Home Antiquing Festivals was held at the May Springfield Extravaganza where tens of thousands of buyers came from all over the country to see the fabulous displays and ideas Country Home presented. The Country Home Antiquing Festival returns to Ohio for the huge September 19-21 Springfield Extravaganza where over 2,500 vendors will converge on the Clark County Fairgrounds.
During the monthly shows that are not Extravaganzas, the Youth Building on the fairgrounds will be used by other show promoters with specialized events. The first exciting show to be held August 16-17 will be “A Country Gathering At Springfield” presented by Linda and Ralph Miller Promotions. Admission is free with your admission to the Springfield Antique Show and Flea Market.
The monthly Springfield show has long been known to vendors for having affordable booth rent, an outstanding safe and secure facility with thousands of inside and outside booths, wonderful on-site camping, close by lodging and restaurants, and 3 of the largest and finest Antique Malls in the country next door to the fairgrounds. From common collectibles to the rarest of worldwide antiques, there is always something for the buyers and collectors to find. Wear your walking shoes and prepare for a day of fun shopping the hundreds of dealers who will be set-up both inside buildings and outdoors across the entire fairgrounds.

If you are looking for a treasure hunt, the Springfield Antique Show and Flea Market, as it has for the past 39 years, continues to be the place where the buyers and the sellers meet.
Show hours for the Summer Festival show are Friday, July 11, from 8 a.m. to noon: $10 Early Admission; noon to 6 p.m.: $5 general admission; and Saturday, July 12, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.: $5 general admission. There is no show on Sunday.
